This is to help teach how to make their 1st Internet Connected Program, If they haven't made 1 yet. If you have never made a Program that Connects to the Internet, This is a good program for starting out. Please note that I will be adding more slowly in a, One step at a time process. This uses the dsSocket to connect to the Internet, Some might wonder or ask why wouldn't I just use the well known WinSock in Visual Basic 6.0. There is more work with the WinSock, Here is the firdt step. When you first try it, I know you will try it & when you do try it in both ways, Try it when you're connected to the Internet & then try it when you're not connected to the Internet, I will try to upload more steps today if I can...........
