This will simply and quickly count the lines of text in a file, If a user copies their code an pastes it in a notepad they can find out just how many lines of text are in their code..... I have a I am working on that is so close to being done its not funny, BUT 1 line in the code is messing me around, that will read the contents of a file, (like a DE-compiler),,, But 1 line has seriously messed me around for a few days now, I may just scrap it even thought it would be very useful... .OK. Let me CLARIFY WHERE I think some people seem to think I said the error was a line in this upload,,, I CLEARLY SAID........ ........I have a I am working on that is so close to being done its not funny, BUT 1 line in the code is messing me around,,,,,,,, NOW READ IT REPEATEDLY IF NEED BE TILL YOU READ IT RIGHT.... In this one there is a bogus bit that does not do anything an should be removed & that is the last little bit of the line that shows in the textnox at the top,,, the part that says "CountLns.frm" that should be removed since that will not get read an will give a light error,,,, But that is an was just a sample line just to show where to type the address to a file to read an to show what the address should look like ... when I took the screenshot showing it was working,,, you can clearly see the address,,,,,, I had typed in to read the file an count the lines of text that was used for the screenshot,,, I hope that helped clear things up for those who needed it cleared up more then I had already clearly said......
